All Media must submit their qualifications and list of locations that photos, etc. will be published before they can receive Media accreditation for GCFR.

Commercial Media

Commercial Media using Gyro Copters or other Aerial camera platforms:

Where the aircraft is being used in the production of a commercial product, the operator must have a Special Flight Operations Certificate (SFOC) issued by Transport Canada for the event.

In addition, the operator must show proof of liability insurance coverage that provides coverage for model aircraft operations and matches the coverage in the event policy.

Non Commercial Media

Non Commercial Media using Gyro Copters or other Aerial camera platforms must be members of ‘Model Aeronautics Association of Canada’ and be covered under MACC Insurance policy.

Proof of membership in MACC must be shown to rally organizers upon request.
